WELCOME to the Artesian Invitational website!

It is with much regret that we must inform you that the Artesian Invitational band contest scheduled for Saturday, October 9, 2010, has been postponed for another year.

Due to the cancellation of last year’s contest caused by inclement weather and the current state of the economy, our funding resources are drastically reduced. It was discussed at great length and the Board of Directors felt that with only a couple bands currently registered, postponement was a better option than trying to have a contest that was not up to our or your expectations due to lack of funding.

Since it is our intention to continue having the contest in the future, all bands that were registered and paid for the cancelled contest in 2009 will still be eligible to attend the 2011 contest at no cost.

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and will greatly miss being able to serve the band faculties and students of Indiana this year.
